Making books from upcycled floppy disks is second nature to me now. I have long wanted to make them from old vinyl records too but my previous attempts were never very successful at cutting them. I have now mastered that, & these are my first books. For the first two I attached leathers spines & bound signatures with longstitch bindings. The 3rd one has single pages attached with a spiral binding. I think I prefer look of the folded signatures of the first two so will work on doing some with a Coptic stich binding, which will have the folded signatures but without the need to attach a separate spine. I love the look of Coptic stitch but I definitely need more practice as I always struggle with attaching the final cover.
